Rich Summers, LSW
Founder & Case Manager
Founder and Case Manager Rich Summers, BSW, LSW, is a Licensed Social Worker and Private Case Manager in the Greater Boston Area.
Mr. Summers has worked at some of the leading dual diagnoses treatment facilities in the country, including McLean Hospital (1986-2004) and Emerson Hospital (2004-2013). While at McLean Hospital, Mr. Summers worked as a psychiatric counselor on the Dissociative Disorder Post-Trauma unit from 1986-1996. From 1996-2004, Mr. Summers worked in Adolescent Residential Treatment. At Emerson Hospital, Mr. Summers worked in Dual Diagnosis Detox.
His experience also includes management of children through adulthood, on a wide range of issues including addiction, depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, altered thought process, relationship challenges, and trauma.
Mr. Summers has been a private behavioral coach for over 15 years and has over 30 years of experience in mental and behavioral health. His collaborative style is aimed toward working with individuals to help identify their triggers and support them as they sort through these thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. Mr. Summers has been an Arlington resident for over 20 years and is on-call 24/7. He can be on-site in less than five minutes.
Cyndi Gauthier, RN
Cyndi holds a bachelor’s degree in Nursing from UMass Boston ’95. She is a Registered Nurse specializing in medication and community case management for clients diagnosed with mental health challenges, medical illnesses, and addiction issues. Cyndi has extensive experience in working with clients that are on MATs, and Safe Landing supports clients on MATs.
In addition to her extensive nursing experience, Cyndi also has 13+ years of experience providing health and fitness consulting services to clients in various settings including working 1:1 with clients at McLean Fernside rehabilitation center utilizing a valuable combination of skills obtained through 25+ years as an RN, along with 13+ years as an American Council on Exercise Certified Personal Trainer.
Cyndi works individually with clients to help them set attainable goals and empowers clients by incrementally building an optimal level of self-efficacy for continued success. Cyndi has years of demonstrated success in motivating individuals to tap into the healing power of exercise and to adopt healthier lifestyles utilizing healthy coping skills. A healthy living and exercise enthusiastic herself, she passionately believes in leading by example.
